We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level HR Administrator to support our Human Resources department. This role is ideal for someone looking to start their career in HR, offering exposure to various HR functions, including recruitment, employee records management, payroll assistance, and compliance. The successful candidate will be highly organized, possess strong communication skills, and have a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruitment processes, including job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and physical files
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing new hire paperwork and conducting orientation sessions
  • Assist with payroll processing by verifying timesheets and employee data
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures
  • Help organize training sessions and company events
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
  • Assist in drafting HR documents, such as employment contracts and company policies

Qualifications

  • Grade 12/ Matric Qualification
  • HR related qualification is an advantage
  • Previous retail experience will be an advantage
  • Familiarity with HR systems and payroll processes is an advantage
